In London, DIY survey software firm Qualtrics has appointed Ian McVey as Head of Enterprise Sales for Northern Europe, responsible for setting up and staffing the business in the UK.
Qualtrics, which was founded in 2002, has US offices in Utah, Seattle and Dallas; a base in Sydney, Australia; and in May announced it would be creating an additional 100 jobs at its European HQ in the centre of Dublin, where it will employ up to 250 staff by the end of 2016. Last September, the firm closed a $150m Series B round of funding, in order to expand into new geographic and vertical markets, develop new products and consider acquisitions.
McVey (pictured) joins with a twenty-year background in strategy, sales and marketing roles at Computer Sciences Corporation, Microsoft, Cable & Wireless, and LEK Consulting. More recently, he worked at data centre provider Interxion as Director, Enterprise & Systems Integrator Business.
Commenting on the appointment, Ryan Smith, co-founder and CEO, said: ‘We could not be more excited to have Ian join our team. Ian will be instrumental in helping our clients leverage Qualtrics to make data-driven business decisions and better understand their customers and employees’.
